Membership Terms & Definitions

All Memberships

• New memberships become active the following Thursday after purchase. 

Family & Business Memberships

• Include up to six people (total) on one membership, either family members or employees. All six must be listed on the membership profile.

Name on the website supporter page

• Optional. All names will be alphabetical, the same font and font size.

Regular Movies

• Movies presented by CTA, Friday - Monday. Does not apply to one-off movie events presented by CTA or other organizations.

Birthday Ticket & Popcorn

• You must show a valid I.D. at the time of purchase.

The Crystal Card (perks card)

• A physical punch card featuring one-time offers from participating local businesses. Members pick up their card at The Crystal starting October 1, 2026. One card is issued per membership and lost cards cannot be replaced. Cards must be presented to the business in person on the day of use in order to redeem the offer.

Exclusive Film Vote

• Applicable members receive private voting invitations by email a few times each year, giving them a voice in selecting films The Crystal will screen.

Advance Ticket Hold

• For select high-demand films, members may hold tickets until 15 minutes before showtime. Personal memberships may hold two tickets total, family or business memberships may hold up to six tickets total.

• Eligible screenings and ticket-request instructions will be sent by email. Requests must be submitted by 7 p.m. two days before the screening, and tickets must be purchased at the box office on the day of the show. Unclaimed tickets will be released 15 minutes prior to showtime, and seating remains first-come, first-served.

On-screen Recognition

• Your name appears on the pre-show screen before every regularly scheduled CTA movie for one year. All names use the same font and size, with the screen updated monthly.

Early Seat Access

• Enter 15 minutes before the box office opens to choose your seat for CTA-presented movies or special events. Seating is not reserved for you.

Reserved Tickets & Seating

• Use the special link in your membership email to request tickets and reserved seats for CTA-presented movies or events. Requests must be submitted no later than 7 p.m. two days before the movie or event and are subject to availability.

• Personal memberships may include one guest. Family and business memberships may include up to five guests, for a total of six people.

• Tickets must be purchased at the box office on the day of the event. Your tickets and seats will be held until 15 minutes before showtime. After that, the reservation will be released.

Free Off-peak Movie Rental 

• One three-hour private rental on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or available afternoon, scheduled at least 30 days in advance.

Movie Time with Kate

•  A private, party-style screening curated by CTA’s Executive Director, complete with special drinks and treats. 

Heaps of Recognition

• In addition to having your name on the pre-show screen - we will do an extra shout-out whenever we are shouting out.
